Top of the sandal

This is an example of the sandal of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) drawn by Sheikh Yusuf Al-Nabahani from the book Fath Al-Muta’l fi madh Al-Na’al of the erudite scholar Ahmed Al-Maqari and he said this is most authentic reproduction.

Inside middle of sandal

This is the sandal that trod on the throne may my soul be sacrificed for it; if it is placed on above our heads we ascend; it is a cure for all illnesses; in reality it is a crown shaped as a sandal.

Inside lower of sandal

The sandal humbles us in its awe of its splendor; if I humble myself for it I begin to rise so place it with the loftiest ennoblements; its reality is a crown in the form of sandal.

Outer right side

Dust on the sandal is similar to white (sand); where the Prophet (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) tied the laces; It is not to sandal to which my heart yearn rather it is to the one who wore the sandal.

Outer left side

O gazer of the impression of the sandal; kiss the sandal without pride; did it not often cling to the foot of the Prophet (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) merging in the morn and evening; do you not seek the acceptance of the beloved more than if it was inscribed in ink.

Just beneath the shoe

The deceased scholar Yusuf Al-Nabahani said, “the service of the sandal of the chosen was taken from Sa’ad Ibn Masud, servant of the sandal, so that I am beneath its shade in two realms and I am overjoyed to be in service of the sandal.”

Just beneath this

The benefits of the noble sandal are transmitted by Al-Qastalani and Al-Maqari from scholars from the blessings drawn from this image of the noble sandal, whoever clings to it is safe from the injustice of rebellion, being overcome by enemies, protect from the evil of satans and evil eye. If a pregnant woman clings to it, in her right hand, during sever pains she shall be relieved by the power and might of Allah, he is save from evil eye and black magic, whoever constantly carries it has acceptance from all people, whoever makes Tawassul by its owner (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) for a need has it fulfilled, even in sever restriction, and cure from any illness with the condition of strong faith.

Sheikh Abu l'Hassan Al-Shadhali (may Allah be pleased with him)

Sheikh Abu l'Hassan Al-Shadhali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "When you have many misgivings and whisperings say, Subhan almaliki alkhalaq al-faaalil lima urid in sha' udhibikum wa yati bikhliqin jadadid wa ma dhalika 'ala Allahi biaziz. (Sura ibrahim 14:19-20.)Glory be to the praised king who does as he wished; if he wishes it to go and can bring a new creation, that is not difficult for Allah.”
